The Dragon Head Walking Stick
is made with Butternut Wood and has glass eyes.
Hand Chisled and attached to a Diamond Willow Stick.
Its 6' 3" and can be cut to length.
10 coats of MinWax Polyurethane provide great durability.

This is a ceremonial - Renaissance walking stick.
The wood is sassafras and had a vine that had grown around it,
creating a twist in the growth of the tree.
Mother Nature did her work, then I add my touch.
I hand carved the spirals clean, carved out the snake head and rattle.
I hand carved notches the length of this piece to give it the appearance of a tree trunk.
I added glass beads for the eyes, applied 6 coats of polyurethane
and added a rubber tip on the bottom.
The height is 6 foot 4 inches. The weight is 7 pounds.
